All the Trails in Wales

Hikes

Did you know that in Wales, there's a large percentage of what's called 'Open Access Land?' And that (with certain restrictions) you are free to wander wherever you want over that Open Access Land?

That said - it's usually better for keeping your socks dry if there's at least some kind of trail... So I'd like to tell you about the ones I've found here - including of course, the three legs of my summer 2017 border hike on the Offa's Dyke Path and the Wales Coast Path. Although even with the entire border it's unlikely to amount to all the trails in Wales, 'All the Trails in Wales' is a lot catchier title than 'asmanytrailsinWalesasIcanwalk inayearandalsotheWalesCoast andOffasDykePaths.com'

Please click on a month below (or click here to navigate by region) to find stories of forest, mountain, beach and hill trails, and, when I don't manage to get lost, walks to or around ancient hill forts, castles and burial mounds...

And sheep. So. Many. Sheep.
